In the 1870's, Louisa Anne Conner traveled by canoe to nearby farms and camps collecting donations to build a Catholic Church for the settlers. In 1899 Sacred Heart opened its doors
Built in 1868 through efforts of Father Blanchet and Father Chirouse to replace the “brush church”. St Paul's is one of the oldest churches in Washington State.
Our church is located in the historic town of La Conner, Washington. Sunday service is followed by an informal gathering with tasty treats and beverages. You will feel welcomed!
